Her name is Gentry (if you don’t understand the joke then stop reading now), she told me her style is inspired by Katharine Hepburn or at least Cate Blanchett’s version of Katharine Hepburn in the movie The Aviator. She has no idea who Katharine Hepburn really is. My favorite part of her outfit is the muted sea foam green tie she was wearing. it looked in even better on my bedroom floor the next day. ;)

how it happened.
Well i saw this really cute girl on tumblr…then i followed her…then she followed me back…after about a year of playful firting…she flew to LA and we had an amazing time where i forced myself into every second of her trip…that ended with the most depressing airport drop off ever. Then i flew to Chicago were i had the most amazing time of my life and she finally agreed to be my girlfriend…then there was actual most depressing airport drop off. And now we talk everyday planning for my return….

This is one of my favorite things that i own….
The story behind it isn’t very interesting…I was working at starbucks at the time and a customer dropped it down with his payment but i noticed that it made a weird noise so when i picked it up and looked at it i saw that it was 1944…which happens to be one of my favorite time periods…so i switched it with a quarter from the tip jar and kept it…yeah technically i stole it but fuck it….the 1944 quarter is 90% silver and 10% copper….i just love the way it feels in my hand…i wish i could absorb the history it’s lived just by touching it….to me it’s priceless….

I was at a Of Montreal show, our beaded indian attire got tangled and we spent 20 minutes making out at the bar in the back of the venue. At the end of the show she smacked my ass and said “good game.” The number she gave me was fake and now i have a cold sore.
